The
Sonata is one of two towers that will create a dramatic gateway
to Mount Vernon Place from Massachusetts Avenue. Designed by Eric
Colbert & Associates, The Sonata has historical roots which
go back to the second half of the nineteenth century when an architectural
design revolution took place, giving New York City its Cast Iron
District. That is when the loft as a design form was born. We like
to think that some 150 years later, here in The Sonata, that form
has been fine-tuned and taken to the next level. These lofts have
been meticulously designed and are being built with the same stringent
attention to detail.
The
Sonata features 75 homes. Only eight of these are penthouses. So
there is clearly an urgency to getting in right away. |
